The captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Ahmed Musa, has disclosed that he and his colleagues will go all out when they face Ghana at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Complete Sports reports.
Nigeria go head-to-head against Ghana and the winner of the two-legged affair on aggregates will pick one of the five tickets to represent Africa at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Super Eagles camp has been thrown open at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja and 23 are already in camp ahead of the first leg.
Musa who was among the early birds hopes Nigeria will get a good result against Otto Addo’s side in Ghana before the second leg in Nigeria.
“We have to give all what we have in the first game to see what we can have before we come back home,” Musa was quoted by Super Eagles’ official Instagram account as saying.
“And by the grace of God, we will do all our best to see what we can do over there.”
The winner of the encounter will pick one of the five tickets for Africa at the world showpiece in Qatar.
Black Stars prepare hard
Meanwhile, the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars, held their first training session in Kumasi ahead of their gigantic World Cup play-off against Nigeria.
The team led by coach Otto Addo arrived in Kumasi on Tuesday afternoon and wasted no time training a few hours later as preparations continue for the big game.

Sports Brief earlier reported that interim manager of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has made his opening remarks as head coach of the senior men's national team.
The 46-year-old tactician will lead Ghana to face Nigeria across two legs for a slot at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The retired footballer turned coach anticipated a tough test but reckons the Black Stars has what it takes to reach the global showpiece.
