Ghanaian parliamentarians ready to support Kotoko's stadium project

A number of former Super Eagles players including Jay Jay Okocha and Kanu Nwankwo will hit Lagos for a novelty match in honour of APC chieftain Bola Tinubu.
The former governor of Lagos state will clock 70 on March 29 and a number of activities have been lined up leading to the D-Day.
PM News reports ex-internationals like Garba Lawal, Julius Aghahowa, Victor Ikpeba, Uche Okechukwu, Ifeanyi Udeze, Taribo West, Victor Agali, Ike Shorunmu, Victor Ezeji, Obafemi Abiodun, Dosu Joseph, Jonathan are all expected.
It was gathered that the match has been arranged by the management and staff of Tinubu Support Group (TSG) in collaboration with the Lagos state government ahead of Tinubu’s 70th birthday.
Further reports claim the match, as well as prayer meetings in support of Tinubu’s presidential ambition, will hold across the six geo-political zones of Nigeria.
The match between Ex-Super Eagles International Players and the Asiwaju Team will take place at Onikan Stadium Lagos on March 20, 2022.
A statement from TSG added that:
“The 13th Bola Tinubu Colloquium, an annual high-powered policy roundtable, is expected to add colour to the Birthday celebration and attract prominent Nigerians from all walks of life in preparation for what political pundits described as a remarkable watershed in the career of the man known to be wielding considerable influence on the political landscape of the country
“The colloquium and the above-listed TSG activities will mark the 70th birthday of the National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Ahmed Bola Tinubu in Lagos, Nigeria.”
