  • Cristiano Ronaldo who returned to England last year looks desperate to leave Manchester United at the end of this season
  • The forward is said to be interested in playing alongside fellow multiple Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi at PSG
  • Following United’s dismal performances in recent times, Ronaldo is expected to leave if United fail to make a top-four finish

Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly willing to dump the Old Trafford club this summer to join eternal rival Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain.

Daily Star reports that the 37-year-old is ready to play in the same team with Messi if he leaves the Premier League club at the end of the season.

CR7 completed a blockbuster return to the Theatre of Dreams just last year, but the player is already considering his future due to United’s recent poor strings of results.

FootballTransfers reports that Ronaldo will go through the exit door if Manchester United fail to finish in the top four when the season ends.

Despite being in the twilight years of his career, the Portuguese returned to United to win trophies; something that isn't on the cards right now.

That, coupled with the prospect of missing out on the Champions League next season, would be enough for Ronaldo to walk away from the final year of his Old Trafford contract.

Ronaldo returns to Man Utd training

Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Man United training days after he went missing in action before the Manchester derby.

The Portuguese talisman was a no show as the Red Devils prepared to battle rivals, Man City, on Sunday, March 6, at the Etihad Stadium.

His presence is expected to hand Rangnick a massive boost as his charges prepare to take on Tottenham in the Premier League.

Fans blast Harry Maguire

Sports Brief earlier reported that Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has continued to receive heavy criticism following his side’s loss to rivals Manchester City in the Premier League.

Angry fans have singled out the player for an attack as he was nutmegged by his own goalkeeper De Gea and made a dummy clearance which led to City’s second goal.

Awful performance by United defenders allowed Kevin De Bruyne to restore his side’s lead as Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka both flail about in the box like fish out of water.
