FootballManchester United star apologises to fans after Abysmal team performance in Manchester derby
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how despite winning twice in their last five games prior to the game, Manchester United went into the derby all pomped up owing to their recent head to head record against their neighbours.
United had won three of the last four derbies at the Etihad. However, an inspired Manchester City buoyed by Kevin De Bruyne run United ragged.
A decent first-half display from the red half of Manchester was followed by a listless output in the second stanza with the Red Devils failing to muster a shot on target.
Perhaps, Sancho and to some extent Anthony Elanga were the only players in red who could be pardoned for the sorry team display.
