A place in the top five of the English Premier League awaits the winner of the clash between Arsenal and Wolves later today.

Arsenal won the previous encounter at the Molineux by a single goal, beating Wolves 1-0 on 10 February.

The Gunners will now host Wolves at the Emirates Stadium, but Arsenal hasn’t had the best track record against their visitors at home.

The teams have met 51 times in London, with Arsenal winning 21 games and Wolves winning 19. There have been 11 draws as well.

Away from home, Arsenal has a much better record against Wolves. 51 games have been played at Molineux, with Arsenal winning 26 games and Wolves only winning 9, EuroRivals confirmed.

Wolves come into the game on the back of two wins, one over Tottenham Hotspur and the other over Leceister City.

Arsenal also heads into the game with a win under their belt in their previous encounter, having beaten Brentford.

A win for either team would leapfrog them about West Ham United into the top five of the English Premier League. A win for Arsenal would also see them just a single point behind Manchester United in fourth, with two games in hand over the Manchester outfit.

With the race for the top four spots heating up, Arsenal coach, Mikael Arteta said he is expecting ‘a bit of a rollercoaster right until the end,’ Arsenal confirmed on their website.

Heartbreak for Antonio Conte as hard-fighting Burnley put up an impressive performance to beat Tottenham

Burnley keep their Premier League survival hopes alive on Wednesday night after they recorded a 1-0 win over Tottenham at the Turf Moor, Sky Sports reports. Ben Mee grabbed the only goal of the encounter to take the Clarets to 20 points, just two points from safety.

Victory would have taken Tottenham to fifth position on the standings, but they fluffed the chance and Antonio Conte's men will now need to return to the drawing board. It was Burnley that started the game on a desperate note as they forced two consecutive corners in the fourth minute requiring Hugo Lloris to punch away.

In the 20th minute, Kulusevski found Romero of all people in the Burnley box, but the Argentine's effort rolled harmlessly wide. And in the 33rd minute, Royal fired over for Tottenham after a counter-attack.
