  • The Frenchman will undergo examinations to determine a possible severity of the injury he sustained on Monday

France striker Kylian Mbappe is a major doubt for Paris Saint Germain's clash against Real Madrid in the reverse fixture of the UEFA Champions League.

The Frenchman suffered an injury in training on Monday and may not be involved in the match at the Bernabeu on Wednesday evening.

Mauricio Pochettino's side edged Real Madrid 1-0 in the first leg in a pulsating Champions League round of 16 first leg on Tuesday, February 15 at the Parc des Princes.

It has now emerged that Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gueye was the one who accidentally injured Mbappe during a practice drill in training.

Gueye stepped on Mbappe's foot before the latter fell to the ground screaming in pain.

Camera Captures Moment PSG Star Charged at Lionel Messi

Sports Brief earlier reported that Lionel Messi seems to be having a tough time at French club Paris Saint-Germain and footage has further shown how Danilo Pereira raged at the Argentine for not tracking back after losing possession against Real Madrid.

SPORTbible reports that the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner was rated 3/10 by French outlet L’Equipe after he missed a penalty against Los Blancos.

It was gathered that Messi even attracted the wrath of his teammate, Pereira, for not returning to help the team defend after his team had lost the ball.
