Abdou Diallo, a member of the Senegal team that won the Africa Cup of Nations exactly a month ago in Cameroon, has revealed that Sadio Mané's work ethic is worth emulating.
The France-born defender sealed a nationality switch in the eleventh hour to join the Teranga Lions for the Africa Cup of Nations.
And after a moth with the team, he disclosed that Liverpool's Sadio Mané is the most hard working player he has come across.
“Sadio Mané is my big brother. In my entire career, he is the player I have seen work the hardest. I had never seen someone who dedicates his life so much to football," he said as quoted by 13 Football.
"You tell him what is the best restaurant in Liverpool, I'm not sure he knows. His life is football. So when I talk to him, there's a lot of respect but it's mutual respect. He also gives me a lot of respect and he is humble and you can talk to him.”
Sadio Mané was outstanding at the Africa Cup of Nation, scoring three goals and providing two assists as Senegal won the tournament.
Meanwhile, Abdou Diallo played an equally important role at the Nations Cup, playing every minute and scored in the semi final win over Burkina Faso.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Abdou Diallo and Idrissa 'Gana' Gueye were treated to a heroes welcome by French giants Paris Saint Germain following their return from a successful Africa Cup of Nations.
The PSG duo were key as Senegal won their first ever AFCON title after beating seven times winners Egypt on penalties in the final.
In a video posted on social media, sighted by Sports Brief, the Senegal stars were embraced by the teammates and president of the club, as they were paraded in front of fans before the Stade Rennes game on Friday night.
