Idrissa Gueye was instrumental and starred in the final as he bossed the midfield against Egypt's Mohammed El Nenny and Mohammed Mostapha.

"We were calm, we had put ourselves in the best conditions to go and get this trophy. And to live it with Idrissa, it was something special. He is nice, because he waited for me to win it, he had played the final in 2019," Idrissa Gueye told PSG's media.

The duo will start training next week as they resume club duties in earnest, with the UEFA Champions League set to return next week.
