Black Princess midfielder Evelyn Badu has finally landed in Norway to continue her fast-rising career after sealing a move to Avaldness IL.

The 19-year-old CAF Women's Champions League star signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Norwegian outfit from Ghanaian side Hasaacas Ladies.

In photos posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, the midfielder looks excited to join her new club and was in the company of former Liverpool defender John Arne Riise.

Evelyn Badu courted the interest of several clubs following his dazzling displays at the CAF Women's Champions League late last year.

She emerged top scorer and was the competitions best player in the tournament held in Egypt.

The Ghanaian forward also led Hasaacas Ladies to five titles last year both domestically and internationally.

Ex-Liverpool star John Arne Riise confident Badu will shine in Norway

John Arne Riise, a 2005 Champions League winner with Liverpool and now manager at Avaldness IL believes Evely Badu will be a great addition to his team.

"Evelyn is an offensively exciting player with good basic skills," said head coach John Arne Riise.

"She has a good eye, is a finisher, and will hopefully give us a lot of joy on the field. But it is important to give her time for everything new she wants to experience here in Norway, not just a new country and new culture, but not least another football culture."

Evelyn Badu has been named in Team of the Tournament

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that four Hasaacas Ladies players have been named in the best eleven of the CAF Women's Champions League which ended on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Top scorer Evelyn Badu, forward Doris Boaduwaa and defenders Janet Egyir and Perpetual Agyekum were part of the team.

The team was released by CAF on their official Twitter handle, as sighted by Sports Brief.
