It was gathered that Mohamed is studying for an Information Technology qualification at the Higher Institute for Management and Information Technology in Giza.

The player completed 90 minutes in their game against Ivory Coast before he was substituted just before the start of extra-time as his side reach the quarter-final.

Local outlet Youm7 says that Mohamed has had three previous exams completed by a replacement – despite the stand-in in question having apparently claimed this is a one-time arrangement. Mohamed's neighbour said.

“He is my friend and his future is going to be destroyed if he doesn't take the exam. I just wanted to help, this is the first time I do it.”

Burkina Faso through to AFCON semifinal

The Stallions of Burkina Faso are through to the semi-final of the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon after defeating Tunisia 1-0.

Django Ouattara’s goal in first-half stoppage time was enough to see the Burkinabe through to the final four of the competition as they hope to take home the title on February 6.

Somehow, the Carthage Eagles failed to restore parity as they crash out of the tournament. It ended; Burkina Faso 1-0 Tunisia.

Rohr expresses disappointment over Nigeria’s AFCON ouster

Augustine Eguavoen led the Nigerian team to the competition as they crashed out of the tournament in the Round of 16 following a 1-0 loss to Tunisia.

Rohr has been linked to become the coach of the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of the World Cup playoffs between both countries in March.
