Fiifi Tackie, the spokesperson of the Ayew family, has denied reports that Black Stars duo, Andre and Jordan, have quit the Black Stars.
The Ayew brothers have been heavily criticised for Ghana's early exit from the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, with many laying the blame at their doorsteps.
And Wednesday reports went rife in the West African country that, the brothers have retired from the national team.
"Andrè and Jordan Ayew are still very committed to the Black Stars team as they have always been. They will keep donning the Black Stars jersey to represent Ghana and give the team their very best on and off the pitch, as always. We just got off the phone," said Fiifi Tackie.
Despite the pair's contribution to the national team, Ghanaians seemed fed up with the duo with many calling for their departure from the team.
Andre Ayew becomes Ghana's all time leading scorer at AFCON
Ghana captain Andre Ayew became the country's all time leading scorer at the Africa Cup of Nations after scoring the opener against Gabon in the second group C game.
The Al Sadd attacker netted a ferocious goal, after swiftly turning and firing from 20 yards in the 1-1 draw.
The goal was his tenth at the competition after making his AFCON debut in 2008.
