There is hope for Arsenal football club fans as Nicolas Pepe gives an update on the future of embattled Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang at the Emirates Stadium, Mirror reports.
Pepe is away on international duty helping Ivory Coast at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Club matters were put up to the player as the former Lille of France star was questioned on whether Aubameyang still has a future with the Gunners after being exiled from the squad.
A clip that has since gone viral on social media captured the moment an Arsenal fan was talking to Pepe and then he asked:
"Is Aubameyang leaving or his he staying?"
The former Lille man replied as per Metro:
"I don't know. I think he'll stay, but I don't know."
More woes for Aubameyang at the Emirates
Many have tipped Aubameyang to leave the Premier League club since he was stripped of the captaincy back in December for that the club called a disciplinary breach.
Arsenal hierarchy was upset after the Gabonese returned late from a mid-season trip to see his family and consequently, he was demoted from his role as club captain.
And as a result, several clubs are already on the trail of the 32-year-old as offers are being received from Borussia Dortmund as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia.
Al-Nassr want Aubameyang on loan
Top Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr have tabled a loan offer for Aubameyang with the club interested in bringing the Gabonese to Asia.

FootballAl-Nassr who are known for poaching struggling Premier League players submitted a bid worth £7m for a loan offer with an obligation to buy the Gabonese at the end of the season.
The Saudi Club currently boasts of having Cameroon captain Vincent Aboubakar in their ranks and have previously signed Nigeria's captain Ahmed Musa from Leicester City back in 2019.
Arsenal prepare contract extension for Aubameyang
Sports Brief earlier reported that Arsenal are reportedly set to offer manager Mikel Arteta a new and improved two-year contract as the club’s hierarchy seems to have been impressed with the Spaniard’s first two years in charge of the London Club.
Gunners are confident they are taking major steps forward under Arteta as he builds his team around Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe, and sidelines high-earning older stars such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Arteta’s current deal with Arsenal will be expiring at the end of the season and the Emirates club are looking at keeping the former Gunners captain by offering him a new and improved contract.
