With Romelu Lukaku’s future at Stamford Bridge still uncertain, the Blues are already making attempt to sign another striker.

Lukaku’s controversial interview ripped apart the football world after the Belgian claimed he does not like the situation at Chelsea and then hinted he would love to return to Italian side Inter Milan.

It was gathered that Paris Saint-Germain are already showing interest in the Chelsea forward, although he has apologised and has returned to the starting lineup under Thomas Tuchel.

Osimhen’s contract with the Italian side runs until 2025 which is why he is being valued so highly, with the striker having scored five times in Serie A this season.

Man Utd chase John McGinn

Sports Brief earlier reported that Manchester United are targeting a summer move to sign £40m-rated Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn after he caught the eye of legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Scottish midfielder has been an influential member of Steven Gerard’s Villa side since joining from Hibs in 2018 as he’s scored 16 goals in 129 goals and played a pivotal role in their promotion from the Championship in 2019.

The 27-year-old’s leadership qualities are also believed to have appealed to United chiefs as Sir Alex Ferguson has recommended the midfielder to the Old Trafford club as they are currently lacking characters in the dressing room.
