Robinson de Castro who is the President of Brazilian club Ceara Sporting Club has explained that he was offered the chance to sign Franck Ribery stressing that he never knew he is still playing.

Franck Ribéry has not doubt enjoyed an incredible football career winning many titles most especially when he was playing for Bayern Munich.

During his 12-year stint at Bayern Munich, Franck Ribery recorded his name in gold as he won 9 Bundesliga titles and one Champions League and also UEFA Super Cup.

And even before he moved to Bayern Munich, Ribery tasted successes at Marseille and Galatasaray.

When did the Frenchman leave Bayern Munich?

In 2019, Franck Ribery and Bayern Munich parted ways and the Frenchman moved to Fiorentina where he spent two seasons before teaming up with Salernitana as free agent.

According to the report on UK Sun and Sportsbible, president of of Ceara Sporting Club explained that he thought Franck Ribery had retired long time ago.
