Conte expresses willingness to allow Christian Eriksen to train with Tottenham
Earlier, Sportsbrief reported that Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has expressed his willingness to allow Christian Eriksen to train with the club as the Denmark international targets to feature in the 2022 World Cup.
In June 2021, Eriksen suffered cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark in the Euros in their opening group game against Finland.
Describing his ordeal, Eriksen admitted recently that he ‘died for five minutes’.
The 29-year old has since been fitted with an implanted cardioverter defibrillator, a move that rendered him ineligible to play in Serie A.
Having been released by Inter Milan, Eriksen is now looking for a new club, and Conte, his former boss at Inter, hailed him as a “top man”.
