Thomas Tuchel reacts to Sadio Mane’s apparent elbow on Cesar Azpiicueta

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel suggested that Sadio mane should have been sent off as early as the first minute during their 2-2 draw with Liverpool.

The highly entertaining fixture produced four world class goals in the first half as both sides took the game at each other in a bid to win all three points.

But just seconds into the game, Senegalese star Mane escaped red after an apparent elbow on Blues captain Cesar Azpiicueta.

The incident generated controversy on social media with many expressing frustration that the AFCON-bound star should have been sent off.

The elbow was clearly thrusted out and it was obvious violent conduct. VAR had a look and should have sent referee Anthony Taylor to the monitor, but it was only a yellow.
