Mendy claims Mane should have been red carded at Stamford Bridge before pair fly to AFCON together

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy claimed that his Senegalese teammate Sadio Mane should have been red carded in the Premier League clash between Chelsea and Liverpool.

This was as a result of Sadio Mane elbowing Cesar Azpilicueta in the encounter in which the big Liverpool forward was only cautioned with a yellow card in the Premier League 2-2 draw.

After the incident, Sadio Mane scored the first goal for Liverpool before Mohamed Salah doubled the lead even though Chelsea fought back to secure a point in front of their faithfuls.

But hours after making this statement, Sadio Mane and Mendy were spotted together inside private jet going to Cameroon for the African Cup of Nations.
