The European team boasts amazing talent, with some of the best players in the best leagues in the world. Their manager has led them to the World Cup and has employed tactics that would favour and use the players' abilities to the fullest. After their heart-breaking penalty-shootout defeat over Scotland in the Euro 2020 qualifying campaign, he has employed a pronounced, faster-playing style centred around ball movement and change of pace.

Some of the team's best players include their most experienced goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic and Torino's Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, who has six caps in International competitions. The squad also boasts a defensive pillar, with Strahinja Pavlovic leading the three-man defence alongside Milos Veljkovic and Nikola Milenkovic.

One strength of the team is the attacking prowess which has made them top their Nations League group and win promotion to group A. This would not have been possible without their two lethal attackers, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Dusan Vlahovic. The two are among the top strikers in their respective leagues and are expected to lead the line for Serbia in Qatar.
