Kolisi, who now plays rugby in France, has been able to attend many sporting events and even got more than he bargained for at some of them.

The Racing 92 player took to social media to share a video of him at the Monaco Grand Prix, where he was spotted watching the Red Bull pit crew in action. The race in Monaco often attracts a host of celebrities and is considered the jewel of the Formula 1 calendar.

The World Cup winner didn’t just get to watch the action from the pit garage; he was also roped in to help. He joked that he wasn’t ready to help change a tyre but got involved somehow.

The hilarious moment happened during the first practice session at the F1 race in Monaco. You can watch the moment on Instagram.

Soccer Laduma noted that earlier this year, the Bok captain, who is a big Liverpool fan, was spotted at the Emirates Stadium, where he watched Arsenal take on the Reds.

Kolisi was joined by fellow Springbok Damian Willemse, who wore an Arsenal shirt.

Unfortunately for Kolisi, the Gunners won 3-1 to move to within two points of the leaders at that stage, BBC reported at the time. Kolisi has previously visited Anfield and even formed a special bond with the club's former manager, Jurgen Klopp.

Kolisi and Klopp’s special bromance

Sports Brief reported how Springbok star Kolisi got to hang out with former Liverpool boss, Klopp.

The pair, who are good friends, were spotted together attending an Adidas endorsement day in Germany.

Klopp and Kolisi also met Kansas City Chiefs' Superbowl-winning quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, there.
