Why Tyson is upset with Alvarez

As noted by BroBible, Tyson hit out at the Unidisputed Super Middleweight Champion, accusing him and other professional fighters of being jealous of him.

Tyson received a lot of criticism from the Mexican star and other fighters for agreeing to take on Paul despite his age, but he isn’t having it.

“I’m 58, and what? I’m getting billions of views from just talking about fighting. Everybody, even most of the athletes, they’re jealous…You couldn’t sell out an arena,” he said.
Who at 58 can sell out an 80,000-seat arena? Why do you think he wants to fight me and not anybody else? All the boxers want to fight him,” Tyson added.

What did Canelo say about the fight?

As noted by Bleacher Report, Alvarez said he would not be watching the fight, saying that it was bad for the sport of boxing.

“I think it's more of a show than a fight," the Middleweight champion said.

The Mexican champion wasn’t the only person who criticised the fight, as other boxers and MMA stars did as well.

KSI, who, like Paul, was a streamer turned boxer, was very vocal about the upcoming fight.

UFC fighter Renato Moicano also weighed in on the bout, labelling it as disgusting.

Paul mocks Tyson’s ear bite video

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul is firing shots at Tyson ahead of the fight, Sports Brief reported.

The youngster recently trolled Iron Mike on social media, reminding him of his ear-biting incident.

Tyson bit Evander Holyfield’s ear during a heavyweight bout in 1997, a moment that lives on in history.
