Manchester United's shot-stopper, Andre Onana, has thrown his support behind his fellow countryman, Francis Ngannou, predicting victory over Anthony Joshua in tonight's highly anticipated clash in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Ngannou, known for his explosive fighting style, is a force in the octagon and a devoted Red Devils fan.

The Cameroonian fighter was in attendance at the team's tour game in Las Vegas against Borussia Dortmund last summer.

The Man United goalkeeper, Onana expressed his confidence in his compatriot's abilities to defeat the Britishman.

"I have a good friend, Francis Ngannou. He is a world champion. He and Anthony Joshua will battle it out in Riyadh. I believe Ngannou will emerge victorious," said Onana, in an exclusive interview with Man United TV.

The highly anticipated clash follows Ngannou's recent explosive fight with Tyson Fury, where he dropped the WBC champion only to lose by a contentious decision.

The African powerhouse is determined to secure a knockout victory against the former two-time unified world champion.

At the weigh-in ahead of the heavyweight showdown, he tipped the scales at 19st 6lb, a stone and a half heavier than his British opponent. Joshua weighed in at 18st, as reported by the BBC.

Ngannou, aged 37, enters the ring two pounds heavier than his debut against Fury.

The event is scheduled to kick off at 4pm GMT (8am PT, 10pm CT, 11pm ET), with the ring walks expected to commence at 11pm GMT (3pm PT, 5pm CT, 6pm ET).

Joshua predicts how fight with Ngannou will end

Sports Brief reported that Joshua said his heavyweight fight could end in a knockout.

Joshua who held the WBO, WBA and IBF before losing his belts to Oleksandr Usyk, has won his last three bouts.

He defeated Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, and Otto Wallin and will now face off with a former UFC champion.
