The God's Plan rapper disclosed his bet on Friday afternoon on his Instagram.

Drake staked $615,000 on the Cameroonian to beat the British boxer. The bet is supposed to return $1,906,500 if Ngannou wins the fight.

The Grammy Award-winning star has lost millions of dollars over the years to betting, especially in UFC matches.

In January, he lost $700,000 after Sean Strickland was beaten by Dricus du Plessis in January, per Bleacher Report. He reportedly lost $1mil in December 2022 when he had Argentina beating France in the World Cup in regulation time.

The musician will be hoping for a positive outcome in the Joshua vs Ngannou fight. The infamous Drake Curse is well documented.

Ngannou vs Joshua preview

The bout takes place on Friday at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, because of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Formula 1.

Joshua heads into this fight after three wins over Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, and Otto Wallin. Before those wins, the former WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight champion lost two straight fights against Oleksandr Usyk, per ESPN.

This will be Ngannou's second boxing match. The Cameroonian controversially lost to Tyson Fury in October 2023. Ngannou dropped Fury to the canvas with a left hook in that fight.

Ngannou left the MMA after 17 wins and three losses.

MMA pundit on Ngannou's chances against Joshua

Sports Brief earlier reported on MMA expert, Afolabi Ojabowale, sharing his thoughts on Ngannou's chances against Joshua when they clash on Friday.

The Cameroonian boxer had his first professional boxing bout against Fury in 2023, and he impressed plenty of boxing enthusiasts.
