There was mild drama during the pre-match presser for the Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou fight slated for Saturday, October 28.

John Fury made an attempt to fight the legendary Mike Tyson during a chaotic press conference in Riyad, Saudi Arabia.

The build-up to the blockbuster episode got heated between John Fury and Mike Tyson, who is training Francis Ngannou ahead of his first professional boxing debut.

While things went well between Fury and Ngannou, the story was different between WBC champion’s dad and Iron Mike.

SPORTbible reports that the 59-year-old repeatedly called out Tyson for a fight throughout the press conference, a challenge which Tyson eventually 'agreed' to after much prompting.

The argument reached a boiling point when John and Tyson were told to deliver their closing remarks.

Mike Tyson had joked, announcing Ngannou as the winner of the bout, but John was unimpressed with the comments.

He stood from his seat, repeatedly shouting: "You wanna fight me?"

But he was stopped by security, who guided him back to his seat.

Ngannou's mum meets Ronaldo

Meanwhile, Ngannou's mother has met with Cristiano Ronaldo in the lead-up to her son's bout with heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia.

The French-Cameroonian had met the former Real Madrid star earlier this year in Saudi Arabia, and they have shared lovely moments together since then.

The former UFC star confirmed that the Portuguese national team captain played a significant role in bringing about the Tyson Fury boxing match.

Nigerian pundit predicts tough fight for Ngannou

Sports Brief earlier reported that Nigerian boxing pundit Bamidele Bakare suggested that the blockbuster fight between Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury would be tough for the Cameroonian to win.

Making his debut in professional boxing, MMA superstar Ngannou will go head-to-head with Fury in a fight slated for Riyadh in Saudi Arabia on October 28.

The British Boxing Board of Control will be the host commission for the "Battle of the Baddest" event.
