The long wait is almost over.

Boxing superstars Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. will put their unbeaten records on the line when they square off at T-Mobile Arena this coming Saturday.

Before that mega fight, let’s look at the five greatest knockouts of Crawford’s boxing career.

Yuriorkis Gamboa (June 28, 2014)

The Omaha native overcame a slow start, dropping Gamboa four times in their championship fight. Crawford unleashed a vicious right uppercut in the dying seconds of the ninth round to record another TKO win.

Gamboa looked dazed as he was sent crashing to the canvas by Crawford. The referee decided to end the Cuban star’s suffering as Crawford successfully defended his WBO lightweight title.

Julius Indongo (August 19, 2017)

Crawford became the undisputed light welterweight champion on August 19, 2017, when he defeated Julius Indongo in their title unification bout, per ESPN.

Bud did it in style, knocking out Indongo with a solid left hook to the body. The punch left Indongo crumpled on the canvas as he tasted the power of Crawford.

He laid on the mat for the entire 10-count of the referee, handing Crawford all of the championship belts in the light welterweight division.

Andre Gorges (April 14, 2012)

Bud showed his incredible power in the fight against Gorges back in 2012. Crawford stepped on the gas in the fifth round, unleashing a barrage of punches on Gorges.

The end came when Crawford uncorked an overhand right on Gorges, who was knocked out cold with the punch.

He froze for a split second before crashing face-first to the canvas.

Shawn Porter (November 20, 2021)

Crawford showed the world his power was still there in the welterweight division, knocking out Shawn Porter in the 10th round.

Bud scored the first knockdown in that round after connecting with a left uppercut on Porter. He continued to pile on the pressure, sending Porter to the canvas once more with a right hook and a combination.

Porter’s father and trainer elected to stop the fight after the second knockdown, giving Crawford a statement win in the 147-pound division.

Kell Brook (November 14, 2020)

Crawford displayed his tremendous power against Kell Brook, knocking him out in the fourth round, per Sky Sports.

He sent Brook tumbling into the ropes after landing a counter right hand. Bud smelled blood after the British fighter got a standing count from the referee.

He landed solid combinations on Brook, leaving referee Tony Weeks no choice but to stop the contest.

Fury vs. Ngannou is on

Sports Brief recently reported on the Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou bout.

They are scheduled to fight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 28.

Fury is currently the WBC heavyweight champion, while Ngannou is the heavyweight champion in the MMA. He recently joined PFL as a fighter.
