Tyson Fury has told his critics to 'keep on hating' after there were calls for him to be stripped of his WBC World Heavyweight title belts.

The calls came after he announced his fight against ex-UFC Champion, Francis Ngannou.

Deontay Wilder's coach, Malik Scott, and Oleksandr Usyk's promoter, Alex Krassyuk, have called for the 'Gypsy King' to be stripped of his world title as he plans to engage in an exhibition fight against the Cameroonian.

According to MARCA, Fury has now aimed a cheeky dig at his critics on social media, as he laughed off their claims while also labelling them as haters.

"Hey guys, little bit of clarification. I hear there's a lot of unknown, irrelevant people talking about how I should be stripped of [my] belt."

The Gypsy King quoted the popular phrase: 'don't hate the player, hate the game'.

"When I do have a mandatory, it will be dealt with just like every other mandatory I've ever had. Until then, keep on hating," he added.

Fury will fight Mixed Martial Arts star, Ngannou, in a boxing contest to decide 'the baddest man on the planet' in Saudi Arabia on October 28.

Wilder’s coach wants Fury punished

Meanwhile, Fury has faced calls from Deontay Wilder's coach to be stripped of his world title amid rumours of a Francis Ngannou fight, The Sun reports.

Scott is fuming and demanding the WBC take the prestigious title away from the heavyweight champion after he agreed to the exhibition boxing bout.

Fury failed in talks to fight Ukrainian fighter, Usyk this year in what would have been the first four-belt unification contest in heavyweight history.

Fury confirms fight with Ngannou

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Fury confirming he will fight Ngannou in Saudi Arabia, with the blockbuster boxing bout set for October 28 in the capital of Riyadh.

The Gypsy King is ready to put his belt on the line to face the Cameroonian-French fighter, with their feud beginning after the Brit brawler beat Dillian Whyte last year.
