As reported by TMZ, Mayweather has splashed out $1 million on a new white gold chain by Johnny Dang.

Johnny Dang is a Vietnamese American jeweller who is the founder of Johnny Dang and Co. He specialises in grills and chains and his custom-made jewellery is big in the American Hip-Hop scene.

Mayweather's new treat to himself weighs almost six pounds, is made of white gold, and contains 8 500 diamonds. The chain also features the letters TMT, which stands for The Money Team.

Personally delivered to Mayweather

Dang took to Instagram to share a video of himself personally delivering the chain to Mayweather. The former champion looked extremely pleased with his new item and didn't take long to start styling with it.

Fans have claimed that Money Mayweather was broke in the past, but his million-dollar chain proves there's no truth to the rumours. Despite retiring from professional boxing, Mayweather continues to rake in the money through exhibition fights.

The undefeated fighter will next take on Aaron Chalmers on February 25 at the O2 Arena in London. Chalmers, previously of Geordie Shore fame, has a 5-2 record in MMA and is undefeated in one fight in boxing.
