ESPN Africa Boxing 20 saw South African Simangele Hadebe (12-3-2) retain her title as the ABU Flyweight champion after Tanzanian Stumai Muki (6-2-0) retired injured ahead of round four in their international bout in Johannesburg

Hadebe controlled the fight from the onset, using her jab and stinging straight right to keep her opponent at bay. Muki struggled to find any rhythm and had no answer for the South African’s superior boxing skills.

The writing was on the wall before the Tanzanian failed to answer the call for the fourth round, retiring due to a shoulder injury and handing Hadebe the TKO win.

The first bout on the undercard saw Ishmael Kadri (3-0-0) earn a majority decision win (39-39, 39-37, 38-36) over Luvo Xhomfo (0-3-0) in their Featherweight contest over four rounds.

The second bout on the undercard produce an entertaining slugfest with Katelgo Khanyisa (3-0-0) picking up a split decision win (77-75, 75-77, 77-75) over Sipho Mahlangu in their Lightweight fight over eight rounds.
