So, how old is Efe Ajagba? The boxer was born on 22 April 1994 in Ughelli, Delta State, Nigeria, to Mr and Mrs Samuel Ajagba. At the time of writing this article, he is 27 years of age. He has three siblings, an older brother and two younger sisters. He grew up in his family home in Riverine town in Ughelli.

In 2016 the Nigerian boxer won a gold medal in the super heavyweight event at the African Boxing Olympic Qualification Tournament, held in Cameroon. His first professional fight came against Tyrell Herndon of the United States at Bakersfield, California. He knocked out the American to claim his first professional victory in boxing.

He holds the record for the fastest victory in boxing history. His opponent, Curtis Harper, walked out of the ring before their scheduled six-rounder began in August 2018. Harper got disqualified for leaving the ring 1 second after the opening bell. The American boxer walked out of the ring protesting a pay dispute.
