SABC journalist Mazola Molefe has claimed that Kaizer Chiefs are on the verge of appointing Nasreddine Nabi as their new permanent manager.
Amakhosi are said to have concluded plans to hire the manager as their next permanent head coach before the 2024/2025 season.
The Glamour Boys are said to be keen to pay off Nabi’s remaining year with Moroccan club FAR Rabat to bring him to the DStv Premiership.
Despite a low budget in his first season in Morocco, the 58-year-old Nabi is set to lead his side to the Botola league title.

He has been incredible for his side as they could still win it ahead of the much-fancied Wydad Casablanca and Raja Casablanca.
The report on Nabi's apparently impending appointment reads, via the SABC:
"Should Nabi get the nod, as is now expected, Chiefs will allow the Tunisian mentor to assemble his own support staff as well as help reassemble a squad that could bring the glory days back to Naturena following yet another dismal campaign."
Kaizer Chiefs have been linked with several names, including Pitso Mosimane, who failed to help Abha Club maintain their status in the Saudi Pro League.
Another strong manager tipped for the Naturena job is Portuguese boss Alexandre Santos, who just parted ways with Petro de Luanda after winning the Angolan league title.

Sports Brief also reported that after bagging a top coaching badge in world football, former Orlando Pirates assistant coach Fadlu Davids is now one of the managers linked with the Kaizer Chiefs job.
The tactician can now coach any team anywhere in the world, as the UEFA Pro License is an equivalent of the CAF Pro License.
He currently works under Josef Zinnbauer at Morocco's Raja Casablanca.
