Super Eagles defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel, could be banned for 10 games after assaulting a Trabzonspor fan in Fenerbahce's last match in the Turkish League.
Fenerbahce defeated Trabzonspor 3-2 at the Papara Park in front of their fans on Sunday, March 17.
A brace from former Manchester United midfielder Fred and a late goal from an ex-Chelsea striker gave Fenerbahce the win over the Burgundy Blues.
After the game, the home supporters invaded the pitch, with the Nigerian defender taking matters into his own hands when he had an altercation with a fan who tried to attack him with a knife.

In a viral video on social media, the former Blackpool star showed his MMA skills while defending himself against the unmasked fan.
According to a report by Turkey Leo Sports, Osayi-Samuel is set to be banned for 10 games for his altercation, while some of his teammates will also get punished too.
The fan is reported to have been taken to intensive care after his clash with the Nigerian defender.
Osayi-Samuel could get further punishment for his act and be referred to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Disciplinary Committee, as Article 44 of the Turkish football discipline rules states that the defender could be banned from football for three months or a year.
