One of the stars at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations has come out to declare his interest in playing for the Premier Soccer League (PSL) side, Kaizer Chiefs.

The AmaKhosi are one of the biggest clubs in Africa and have had several legends from the continent representing the team.

Despite Kaizer Chiefs' recent struggles, they remain a top club in the DStv Premiership.

Namibian international, Bethuel Muzeu, who had a wonderful time at the AFCON 2023, has shown his admiration for the AmaKhosi and his dream to play for the club someday.

The Namibian forward currently plays for the Black Leopards in the National First Division, and a move to a top side could be on the cards due to his performance at the AFCON, according to a report by iDiskiTimes.

"The dream is to play far, to make your name high. So every chance you get, you must use it. So, to be honest, my dream is to play for Kaizer Chiefs," he said.
"So one day is one day I will make it. And I believe God will help me. I grew up watching Kaizer Chiefs, the likes of Reneilwe Letsholonyane, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Bernard Parker, and Pule Ekstein.
"I grew up watching those guys. They made my football era growing up to be so incredible. I grew up watching them, and it is my dream club, and one day, I am going to play there."

Muzeu provided one of the best assists in AFCON during his nation's journey to the Round of 16; he set up Deon Hotto's goal in the Brave Warriors win over the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.

He is also on good form for the Black Leopards, having scored 10 goals so far for Li Doda Duvha.

Kaizer Chiefs celebrate Bafana Bafana

Sports Brief earlier reported on Kaizer Chiefs sending a congratulatory message to South Africa after qualifying for the semi-finals of AFCON 2023.

Bafana Bafana defeated Cape Verde's Blue Sharks in the quarter-final stage on Saturday (February 3) to set up a last eight meeting with Nigeria.
