Thiago Silva goes on holiday

With the defender due to resume training with Chelsea at Cobham, The Sun reports he jetted off to the Maldives for some downtime with his stunning wife and kids.

Silva sported a black Gucci t-shirt and denim shorts while his wife opted for a white top and blue shorts.

The defender's partner Isabelle gave fans a glimpse of their holiday on social media as she posted a series of snaps from their beach holiday.

"Returning home, returning to our home," Isabelle quoted the snaps which included their kids and close friends.
"With renewed energy but still feeling like something is missing. And missing," she added.

Neymar's message to Messi

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Brazil star Neymar congratulated Messi with one short message of 'Congrats Brother.'

Fans were quick to note that he did not commiserate with Mbappe, who despite his heroics, was on the losing side on the night.

It should be remembered that Neymar and Mbappe had some alleged ego wars in Paris at the start of the season. The two stars were said not to see eye to eye with Mbappe reportedly advocating for Neymar's sale.
