The Gunners are believed to be keeping tabs on the Brazilian forward as Mikel Arteta hunts for a new striker.

Arteta is looking to reinforce his attack line following Pierre-Emerick Aunameyang's departure to Barcelona in January.

Mirror UK now reports City want around £40m for Jesus as they are keen to recoup some significant amount from the sale of the Brazil international.

Part of the money raised from Jesus' transfer is expected to fund the signing of Borussia Dortmund hotshot, Erling Haaland.

City themselves are in need of a striker and have identified Haaland as a key priority.

On his part, Jesus is said to be more than willing to move to the Emirates - but only if the Gunners secure Champions League football.
