Carlo Ancelotti becomes the first manager to win league titles across Europe's top five leagues

Real Madrid's triumph under the tutelage of Ancelotti saw the tactician become the first tactician in history to win league titles across the top five major leagues.

The 62-year-old has managed in the Premier League, the French Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A, and is now currently in the Spanish top flight.

He started off his quest 18 years ago when he led AC Milan to the Serie A championship back in 2004 before he added the Premier League in his bag with Chelsea in 2010.

He won the French Ligue 1 title three years later with Paris Saint-Germain before he moved to Germany where he helped Bayern Munich win the Bundesliga title in 2017.

He completed the clean sweep of league crowns over the weekend after leading Real Madrid to the Spanish league glory.

Ancelotti has a chance to win a double with the La Liga giants this term, with his side firmly in the Champions League.

Only Man City are standing between them and a spot in the final of the European showpiece.

Real Madrid star misses La Liga title party

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Gareth Bale was a conspicuous miss as jubilant Real Madrid players celebrated winning the La Liga title on Saturday, April 30.

Real were handed the title shortly after their 4-0 win over Espanyol, a match that Bale missed with a back injury.

However, given the significance of the day, the Welshman was still nowhere to be seen at the Santiago Bernabeu as Los Blancos lifted the title.

The former Tottenham Hotspur winger is set for a bitter Madrid exit at the end of the ongoing season.
