Salah ready to pen new long-term deal with Liverpool

According to Mirror UK, Salah is now set to snub the interest of the two clubs in order to stay at the Merseyside club.

The publication claims the change of heart has been influenced by the affection the club has shown him since he joined them from Roma five years ago.

One such instance is when Liverpool supported him after his country, Egypt, missed out on a World Cup slot.

It is further understood that the Anfield outfit offered him a new and improved four-year deal that would see him spend the rest of his career with them.

The two EPL heavyweights are expected to go head-to-head in the race to win the domestic crown at the end of the season.

Liverpool briefly topped the standings for the first time since December on Saturday, April 2, after they sunk Watford in the early kick-off before Man City regained their lead.
