Kai Havertz has offered insight into whether he would want to have any of his former Chelsea colleagues joining him at Arsenal in the future.

The German attacker became part of a growing trend of players crossing the London divide when he made the switch from the Blues to the Gunners last summer.

Although his initial £65 million move from West London to North London raised eyebrows, Havertz has found his stride as the season progressed.

As per Transfermarkt, he has contributed 12 goals and six assists in the league for Arsenal, playing a pivotal role in their pursuit of their first Premier League title in 20 years.

While the former Bayer Leverkusen star has earned accolades for his turnaround after a sluggish start, Mikel Arteta also deserves credit for nurturing his talent and helping him flourish.

Havertz not eager for Chelsea stars to join Arsenal

During an interview with Chinese streaming service, iQIYI, the 24-year-old was asked whether he would be interested in bringing any of his former Chelsea teammates to Arsenal.

However, he emphasised his contentment with the current squad and indicated no desire for changes.

"I don't even know, I think we have everyone here... I'm happy with the squad," he said, as quoted by Tribuna.

What's next for Kai Havertz?

Following his pivotal role in Arsenal's victory over Bournemouth on May 4, Havertz is now focused on helping the Gunners secure their first win at Old Trafford since 2020, when his side face Manchester United on May 12, as noted by Sofascore.

Subsequently, he would want to channel his strength by assisting the North London side in concluding the season on a high note in their final league match against Everton, just seven days after the clash with the Red Devils.

Mikel Arteta commends Kai Havertz

Sports Brief also previously reported on Mikel Arteta commending Kai Havertz for his stellar performance in Arsenal's impressive 5-0 win over Chelsea on April 24.

Instead of focusing on his direct contributions to the game, the manager highlighted the German international's impact on the team beyond just scoring goals.
