The New Day member travelled to Ghana recently to officially open the CLICK for Quality Education Foundation (a.k.a. Computer Lab and Integrated Centre of Knowledge for Quality Education) in the African country, Fightful reported.

The centre will assist Junior High Schools in Ghana by providing them with quality award-winning computer labs and integrated centres of learning.

Kingston took to social media to share photos from the event, expressing his excitement at completing the project. In 2022 he shared photos of the project in its infancy stage, after announcing what he would be doing.

Kingston’s Ghanaian heritage

Born Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah, Kingston is a Ghanaian-born America wrestler. He was originally billed as being from Jamaica when he first gained fame in the WWE, but his Ghanaian heritage is now well known.

As noted by ESPN, the multiple-time tag-team champion visited Ghana in 2019 after he won the WWE championship.

Kingston starts building ICT library in Ghana

Last year, Sports Brief reported how Ghanaian-American wrestler Kofi Kingston was building a magnificent ICT library for the people of Atwima Takyiman in Ghana.

The 41-year-old, who was born in Ghana before he and his family emigrated to the US at a young age, is giving back to the community that raised him.

Kingston shared updates of the library dubbed as the CLICK for Quality Education Foundation on his social media pages.
