Could we finally see UFC stars making an appearance in the WWE?

The wrestling juggernaut merged with the MMA organisation’s parent company last year, to form the new TKO.

Dana White recently commented on the possibility of UFC fighters appearing in the WWE,

Following the merger, many fight fans expected to see more crossover appearances between the two combat sports entities, but that hasn’t really been the case.

Now speaking about the matter, Dana White admitted that he would be open to seeing UFC fighters make appearances in the WWE, BJPenn reported.

“Some of the fighters who fight here have always dreamed about a WWE match or whatever it is. I don’t have a problem with that,” White said.
“I, obviously, would absolutely do it,” he added.

The UFC’s CEO also touched on reports that heavyweight Derrick Lewis was previously in talks with the WWE, saying that he would do anything for The Black Beast.

Randy Orton attends UFC

While UFC stars are yet to make their presence really felt at WWE events, one wrestler stole the headlines at a recent UFC card.

UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs Nascimento was held in St Louis, Missouri, and The Viper Randy Orton was spotted taking in the action.

A resident of the area, Orton even interacted with Welterweight Joaquin Buckley during the event.

Buckley picked up a big win over Nursulton Ruziboev and went into the crowd to celebrate with Orton.
