Dustin Poirier vs. Justin Gaethje 2

The much-anticipated BMF title showdown between lightweight stars Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje will headline the card.

Saturday’s showdown will be a rematch of their epic matchup back in 2018 at UFC on FOX.

Poirier won their first fight in stunning fashion, beating Gaethje via TKO in the fourth round. After rocking Gaethje with a left hand, Poirier went for the kill.

He unleashed a barrage of punches on Gaethje, leaving referee Herb Dean no choice but to stop the fight.

Fans will love to see a repeat of that slugfest tonight.

Poirier last fought at UFC 281 against Michael Chandler, with the former winning by submission in the third round, per Bleacher Report.

Gaethje’s last appearance in the Octagon happened at UFC 286 against Rafael Fiziev, with the former winning by majority decision.

Alex Pereira vs. Jan Blachowicz

Pereira will make his much-awaited debut in the light heavyweight division on Saturday night when he faces former champion Blachowicz in a three-round clash.

Pereira is coming off a knockout loss against Israel Adesanya, a fight that forced him to leave the middleweight division.

He has a fantastic opportunity to claim a UFC title in another division with a win over Blachowicz.

The light heavyweight division has become wide open after the previous two champions - Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill - both vacated their titles due to injury immediately after capturing gold, per CBS Sports.

Pereira must utilize his jiu-jitsu and takedown defense to beat the 40-year-old Polish fighter.

Blachowicz’s last fight came on December 11, 2022, at UFC 282 against Magomed Ankalev, with that five-round bout ending in a draw.

Bobby Green vs. Tony Ferguson

Ferguson enters this fight with a 26-8 MMA record, including a 15-6 slate in the UFC. He has lost five in a row, suffering defeats against Nate Diaz, Michael Chandler, Beneil Dariush, Charles Oliveira, and Justin Gaethje.

His last win in the Octagon came in 2019 at UFC 238 against Donald Cerrone.

Ferguson will look to end his losing rut against Green, who is 2-2-1 in his last five fights.

Green's last bout against Jared Gordon was ruled a ‘No Contest' after a clash of heads.

Kevin Holland vs. Michael Chiesa

Chiesa is in the midst of a two-fight losing streak after suffering back-to-back defeats against Vicente Luque and Sean Brady. He enters the bout against Holland with an 18-6 MMA record and an 11-6 slate in the UFC.

He will have his work cut out for him against Holland, who has won three of his last five fights, including an impressive TKO victory over Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC 287.

Adesanya backs Pereira to win

Sports Brief recently reported on Adesanya backing old rival Pereira to knock out Blachowicz this weekend.

Adesanya is coming off a brutal knockout win over Pereira at UFC 287 to regain the middleweight crown.

Adesanya lost to Blachowicz in their light heavyweight title showdown at UFC 259.
