Mark Zuckerberg responded to Elon Musk’s training session with MMA legend Georges St-Pierre by calling in his own reinforcements.

The Meta CEO was spotted training with UFC champions, Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski ahead of his rumored fight with Musk.

Adesanya, who is the reigning middleweight champ, posted a series of photos of him, Zuckerberg, and Volkanovski getting together for a training session.

The series of images show the trio standing on mats and wearing training shorts, per USA Today. Zuckerberg had his wrists taped as he hung out with the two UFC legends.

Adesanya captioned his photos, writing: “No fugazi with Mark. This is serious business.”

Zuckerberg commented on his new trainer’s post, writing, “It was an honor to train with you guys!"

It is unclear where exactly the training session happened. Zuckerberg and UFC featherweight champ, Volkanovski have worked together before for a Metaverse virtual reality project.

Zuckerberg's MMA connection

Zuckerberg’s love for MMA is well known.

He follows MMA accounts on social media and attended an event at the UFC Apex with his wife last October.

The 39-year-old has also competed in several Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitions.

Fight of the century looms

The talk of the town in recent weeks is the ongoing online feud between Zuckerberg and Musk. The tension has ratcheted up, with the two billionaires indicating that they would want to fight each other in an MMA bout.

UFC president, Dana White wants to stage the fight, saying that he has already spoken to both men about it. White added that they are serious about the bout, per Bleacher Report.
