The film also will star Hollywood actor, Jake Gyllenhaal. The movie is remake of the 1989 film of the same name. The 1989 version featured Patrick Swayze as a martial arts expert and bouncer who is hired to restore order at a sleazy bar, IMDB noted.

While it's unknown what role McGregor will have in the movie, it's confirmed that he won't be portraying himself. Gyllenhaal will be starring as a former UFC fighter who takes on the job of a bouncer at a road house.
To make some of the cage fighting scenes more realistic, Gyllenhaal attended UFC 285 and shot the scene inside the Octagon in front of the live audience.
He also attended the weigh-ins for the Jon Jones fight the day before the main event and shot scenes for the movie.
