Swarm of bees spotted at Indian Wells
Alcaraz was startled when he was swarmed by bees while serving at 15/0. The bees were all over the court, circling around the Spaniard as well as covering the Spidercam used for broadcast.
The 20-year-old tried to swat the bees away, but the invasion was just too much for him. Alcaraz and Zverev both left the court and took cover in the locker room with chair umpire Mohamed Lahyani announcing to the audience that the match would be suspended until further notice, per ATPTour.com.
