Betting on Fiji (-15.5)

Fiji will head to their showdown against Georgia with momentum on their side after beating Australia 22-15 in their last group match.

The Flying Fijians made history with that win as they recorded their first-ever win against the Wallabies at the World Cup, per Sky Sports.

Fiji had lost 17 of their last 18 Test matches against Australia before their shock win in Saint-Etienne on September 17. They last defeated the Aussies 69 years ago.

Four successful penalties from Simione Kuruvoli put Fiji ahead 12-8 at the half-time break.

Josua Tuisova extended Fiji's lead two minutes after the restart, with the winger latching on to a loose ball before crossing over in the corner.

Fiji made it 22-8 through a Frank Lomani penalty. Australia made one late push, with Vinivalu scoring a try, but the Fijians held on for a famous win.

Fiji's bid to reach the quarter-finals was boosted even further after Australia lost 40-6 to Wales on Sunday night.

They will look to solidify their hold on second place in Pool C when they face Georgia. The Fijians have recorded four wins, two draws, and one loss in their last seven test matches against Georgia.

The two sides faced each other at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, with Fiji recording a 45-10 win.

Betting on Georgia (+15.5)

Georgia narrowly avoided an embarrassing loss to Portugal in their Pool C clash last Saturday, scoring a late try to force an 18-18 tie.

The Georgians looked to be on their way to another victory over Portugal after racing to a 13-0 lead at the break, per the BBC.

They needed just 75 seconds to open the scoring with Akaki Tabutsadze nabbing his record 30th try in 33 Tests.

Georgia scored eight more points following a conversion and a couple of penalties from Tedo Abzhandadze.

Portugal came storming back, however, with winger Raffaele Storti scoring two sensational tries.

Os Lobos had an 18-13 advantage in the dying minutes, but that lead was erased by Georgia's Tengizi Zamtaradze, who was awarded a late try by TMO Joy Neville.

Portugal had another opportunity to record the upset win, but full-back Nuno Sousa Guedes missed a penalty seconds after the restart.

A draw was still a disappointing result for the Lelos, who remained winless in this tournament. They lost in their opening match against Australia.
