Ghana shines bright in arm wrestling
The 13th edition of the African Games debuted arm wrestling as a discipline in the multisport event. The host nation took full advantage by scooping a chunk of the medals, much to the delight of the fans at the Cedi Conference Centre at the University of Ghana.

In the two-day event, Ghana won 21 medals on day one of the event, bagging four gold, 10 silver and seven bronze medals before topping up their count in the same event on Saturday, March 16, with four more gold, nine silver and six bronze medals taking the total tally to 40.
