Game 1 of the 2023 Stanley Cup Final is just a few days away.
The Florida Panthers and the Vegas Golden Knights square off to determine who will be crowned this year’s NHL champions.
It is not just the teams participating who are excited for the Stanley Cup Final but also their respective fanbases.
Among those who can’t wait for the blockbuster clash are Florida’s celebrity fans.
Here is a list of the famous stars rooting for the Panthers in the best-of-seven series.
Ariana Grande
Grande grew up in Boca Raton, Florida, and spent much of her childhood attending the Panthers’ hockey games.
Grande became part of the Panthers’ history when she attended Florida’s first home game at their new arena in Sunrise.
A loose puck flew from the ice at the National Car Rental Center and struck a five-year-old Grande in the left wrist.
That made Grande the first fan hit by a puck at Florida’s arena, per Fansided.
Fortunately for Grande, she suffered no major injuries with the puck hit. Grande only had to deal with a bruise following the incident.
Grande had a much better experience at a Panthers game three years later. She displayed her singing prowess on national television for the first time, belting her version of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
Grande has since become a global music superstar, but her love for the Florida Panthers remains up to this day.
Brooks Koepka
The newly crowned PGA champion is a hardcore Florida Panthers fan. He supported them one day after his triumph at Oak Hill, attending the Panthers’ Game 3 showdown against the Carolina Hurricanes, per NHL.com.
