Monday Night Football is always a can’t-miss game, and that will be especially true in 2023.
A handful of the top games this season will be on MNF, with none bigger than the Super Bowl 57 rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11.
There’s a long way to go before MNF officially kicks off, but let’s look ahead to the NFL primetime schedule.
Week 1 – September 11
Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN/ABC/ESPN2)
The 2023 Monday Night Football slate starts with a bang, as ESPN and ABC will cover Aaron Rodgers’ much-anticipated debut for the New York Jets.
He will have his work cut out for him in Week 1, as the Jets will face Josh Allen and the rest of the Buffalo Bills, per Fox Sports.
Week 2 – September 18
New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers (7:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)
Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (8:15 p.m. ET, ABC)
The first MNF doubleheader of the 2023 NFL season will happen in Week 2.
Starting things off is the NFC South showdown between the Saints and the Panthers. It will be interesting to see whether top pick Bryce Young will be Carolina’s starting QB in that primetime game, which will be shown live on ESPN.
The second game will feature two AFC North teams, as the Browns and Steelers lock horns on ABC.
Week 3 – September 25
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7:15 p.m. ET, ABC)
Los Angeles Rams vs. Cincinnati Bengals (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)

NFLThe second MNF doubleheader of the 2023 NFL season will happen in Week 3.
The first game will feature two reigning division champs in the NFC, as the Eagles and the Bucs square off on ABC.
The second game will be a rematch of Super Bowl LVI, as the Rams and the Bengals lock horns on ESPN.
Week 4 – October 2
Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Giants (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)
The all-time series between the Seahawks and the Giants is tied at 10-10.
Seattle pulled even last season with a 27-13 victory over New York. Geno Smith starred for the Seahawks, throwing for 212 yards and a couple of touchdowns.
Week 5 – October 9
Green Bay Packers vs. Las Vegas Raiders (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)
It is only fitting that the first meeting between star wide receiver Davante Adams and his former team, Green Bay Packers, will be on Monday Night Football.
Who holds the record for the most sacks in a game in the NFL?
NFLAdams is undoubtedly a Packers legend, holding the team record for receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, and catches in a season.
Green Bay traded Adams to Las Vegas in March last year in exchange for a 2022 first-round pick and second-round pick, per Sports Illustrated.
Week 6 – October 16
Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Chargers (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)
The Los Angeles Chargers and the Dallas Cowboys will play an NFL-high six primetime games in the 2023-24 season.
Justin Herbert and Dak Prescott’s much-anticipated showdown is MNF’s Week 6 offering.
Week 7 – October 23
San Francisco 49ers vs. Minnesota Vikings (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)
The Niners are 52-29 on Mondays all-time. The Vikings have a 31-36 record on Monday games.
They will square off in Week 7.
Week 8 – October 30
Las Vegas Raiders vs Detroit Lions (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)
The Lions exceeded expectations last season, finishing with an impressive 9-8 record.
Kobe Bryant vs Lebron James: Who is better, The Mamba or The King?
NBAThey have been rewarded with an MNF game this season against the Raiders.
This is the first time the Lions will square off with the Raiders since they moved to Las Vegas.
Week 9 – November 6
Los Angeles Chargers vs. New York Jets (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)
Aaron Rodgers and Justin Herbert have never faced each other in an NFL game, so this primetime showdown between the two talented quarterbacks will be highly anticipated.
Week 10 – November 13
Denver Broncos vs. Buffalo Bills (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)
The Bills’ fifth primetime game of the season will come in Week 10 when they host the Broncos.
Josh Allen loves playing against Denver, as he is 2-0 in his career against the Broncos.
Week 11 – November 20
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN/ABC)
The Eagles and the Chiefs will face each other for the first time since their epic Super Bowl LVII clash last February, which Kansas City won 38-35.

Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)
A key divisional matchup will take place in Week 12, as the Minnesota Vikings host the Chicago Bears in a mouth-watering NFC North clash.
The Vikings have dominated this matchup recently, winning their last four games against the Bears.
Week 13 – December 4
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)
Two of the league’s best young quarterbacks will lock horns in MNF’s Week 13 offering, as Joe Burrow and the Bengals face Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars.
The Bengals have won their last two games against the Jags, dating back to 2020.
Week 14 – December 11
Green Bay Packers vs. New York Giants (8:15 p.m. ET, ABC)
Tennessee Titans vs. Miami Dolphins (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)
The third MNF doubleheader of the 2023 NFL season will happen in Week 14.

NFLThe first game will feature two NFC teams, as the Packers and the Giants square off on ABC.
The second game will feature two AFC sides, as the Titans and the Dolphins lock horns on ESPN.
Both games have the same start time.
Week 15 – December 18
Kansas City Chiefs vs. New England Patriots (8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN)
The Chiefs are starting to build a dynasty, winning the Super Bowl in two of the last four seasons. They will look to make a statement against the Pats, who won six Super Bowls during the Tom Brady era.
Week 16 – December 25
Baltimore Ravens vs. San Francisco 49ers (8:15 p.m. ET, ABC)
The Ravens and the 49ers will square off on Christmas night in a special edition of Monday Night Football.
This will be Lamar Jackson’s first MNF game since signing his blockbuster contract with the Ravens.
