LeBron shoots hoops in Saudi

A photo went viral of James heading toward an area of the court where two basketballs are placed.

A poster of the Ministry of Sport can be seen in the background, with the words “Saudi Welcome to Arabia” printed across in large letters.

This surprise trip of the basketball icon is part of the “Visit Saudi” campaign, which promotes tourism to Saudi Arabia.

NBA stars want Saudi money

His arrival comes weeks after he joked about moving to Saudi Arabia if they offered him a deal similar to the one Al Hilal gave Kylian Mbappe.

He posted a clip of Forrest Gump running to share his view on the stunning offer from the Saudi club.

Al Hilal shocked sports fans everywhere when they made a world-record offer to Paris Saint-Germain to land the French star.

They reportedly were willing to pay $776 million to Mbappe for him to leave PSG and play for Al Hilal for just one year, per Fox Sports.

NBA stars such as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard reacted to the Saudi club’s offer.

Antetokounmpo made a hilarious come-and-get-me plea to Al-Hilal after learning of their record bid for Mbappe.

The Greek Freak tweeted: "Al Hilal you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe".

Al Hilal joined in the fun, releasing a personalized team jersey for Antetokounmpo with the number 34.

Saudi has become a prime destination for sports stars, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar now plying their trade in the Arab country.
