The sports fraternity has been plunged to mourning following the death of basketball legend, Kobe Bryant.
The 41-year-old basketball icon is said to have died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, on Sunday, January 26.

According to reports filtering through in the US, Bryant was in his private helicopter with at least three other occupants at the time of the crash.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department has since confirmed the incident, revealing at least five people died in the crash.

Bryant enjoyed a terrific basketball career with Los Angeles Lakers spanning to close to 20 years.
During the period, he won a couple of titles, including five NBA championships before calling it quits in 2016.
He was married to his wife, Vanessa Bryant, with who he had four children together, including Bianka, Gianna, Natalia, and Capri who is the youngest.
