  • Al-Hilal have reportedly offered Paris Saint-Germain €300 million for Kylian Mbappe
  • The Saudi Arabian club also offered an annual salary of €700m for a one-year contract
  • NBA stars have reacted to the Al-Hilal offer which dwarfs most of their career earnings

Draymond Green is the latest NBA star to react to Al-Hilal's mouthwatering salary offer to Kylian Mbappe, which has been causing a stir on social media since yesterday.

Mbappe is entering the final year of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain and is unwilling to extend. The club is not open to the idea of losing him for free next summer and have put him up for sale.

The forward has his mind set on Real Madrid, with the European giants lying in wait to poach him for free next year, having had a bid of €160 million rejected two years ago, as reported by The Athletic.

The Parisians are asking for more than that fee this summer and Saudi Pro League side, Al-Hilal, have reportedly tabled a world-record offer of €300mil for Mbappe, which has reportedly been accepted, per Sports Brief.

On top of the world-record fee offered to PSG, Al-Hilal are also said to have offered a one-year contract worth €700mil to the 2018 World Cup winner, which allows him to join Real Madrid in 2024.

The salary offer is turning the heads of many in the sports world, including NBA stars who are some of the highest-paid athletes. Golden State Warriors power forward, Green, is one of those.

"They got basketball leagues too right? I don’t [think] the ink on my contract has dried up yet," he wrote on Twitter.

The four-time NBA champion re-signed with the Warriors after initially becoming a free agent.

According to Sactown Sports, he will earn $25mil per year with his new contract, a meagre amount compared to the Saudi club's $776mil per year offer to Mbappe.

Al-Hilal responds to Giannis

Sports Brief also reported that Al-Hilal responded to Giannis Antetokounmpo's request to sign him because he is Mbappe's doppelganger, if the Frenchman does not accept the deal.

The Riyadh-based club accepted the Greek-Nigerian basketballer's request and welcomed him to the club, but as a fan, which left the Milwaukee Bucks star hilariously disappointed.
