Transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, has reported that Al Hilal have submitted a bid worth €300mil in order to open talks with the Ligue 1 champions.

The 24-year-old is believed to have previously agreed on terms with Real Madrid, a club that tried to sign the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.

Journalist, James Benge, also added that the package includes a €700mil salary per year, and Mbappe would be allowed to join the Spanish giants next summer if he wants to.

Saudi Pro League clubs have become a destination for many players from the European leagues, like Cristiano Ronaldo, Roberto Firmino, Karim Benzema, and N'Golo Kante.

Mbappe's current contract expires in 2024 and PSG have insisted he must extend or be sold this summer. The winger previously informed the club he would not sign a new deal but would stay until next season.

Mbappe and PSG in standoff

The club and their star have been locked in a highly-publicised stand-off for months, with the Frenchman now on sale to prevent the club from losing him for free next summer.

Mbappe has insisted he wants to stay with PSG and reportedly wants to join Real Madrid next summer. That has caused the club to sideline him ahead of the new season.

Rodrygo wants Mbappe in Madrid

Sports Brief earlier reported on Los Blancos youngster, Rodrygo saying he hopes Mbappe joins Real Madrid because he will help them.

If he does sign with the Spanish side, it will be interesting to see where he is played by Ancelotti as Vinicius Junior is currently a winger.
